What does it mean when you’re 24 years old and a customer calls you “kiddo”?

I get mistaken a lot for being younger than my age lol. Maybe it’s the healthy habits I do. This lady at my job said “bye kiddo, have a nice day” I said thank you and laughed, then the other day my coworker asked me how old I was, I said I’m 24, she was like”wow I thought you were like 20, you look young”

Same as I'm 4'8 and get mistaken for a child all the time. Literally had last time I was with my boyfriend someone freak out thinking I was 12 and he was an adult taking advantage of me. When in reality I'm older than him by almost 3 years lol

Yeah I’ve been on dates with older men and some have asked me like”are you sure you’re over 18 or above 21” “I don’t wanna seem like a creep” and I’ve had to tell them several times yes lol. Yep I'm an old 29 lol. Get mistaken a lot for a 12 year old. Literally went to the doctor about 4 years ago and walked by the kids ward. The lady giving out cookies mistook me for a child and gave me a free one. I was so mad she thought I was a kid but I wasn't about to turn down a free cookie lol

A loving heart is always young. My stepfather says I look 36.5, so imagine a dude in their late 30s with a much younger dude, like in their early 20s, or worse, teens.

They just think you're younger, in your case it's a compliment.

Even 20 is not a kid anymore. Many people treat others as if they’re younger than they really are. I just explain how it’s quite rare to be a kid with an adult voice and 168cm.

True true, it’s not it’s still a young adult but I don’t know I just am flattered by the compliment. I’ve seen people that are younger than me but some look older if they smoke, heavy drinkers or girls who cake on a ton of makeup, I do none of those things.

I’ll be 25 this year and I know damn well I’m not growing anymore of course. I never wear makeup tho like ever, I just wear sunscreen, drink water and try to get plentiful sleep:) I don’t judge people based off height though, I’ve found myself attracted to guys mostly under 6 foot.
