Omg I suck at it both ways. I don’t like just throwing bad news out there to someone. I like to go through the whole story and further explain whats to come after (whatever the bad news is). And physically, I just suck at it. I just spent 30 mins trying to ease this bandaid off my arm. The pain 😭 #FeelFreeToList
Physically, yes. I have had way too much practice.
Verbally…. now, yes. I have definitely gotten better as I have gotten older. I still do it in a respectful manner…. not dickish like many…. although opinions may vary on that one depending on who is receiving the message.

+1 yPhysically yes for sure Verbally i never had the chance to.
pro tip to soaked the area where the band aid in warm water then it will just fall off after that.
12 Reply- +1 y
Thank you. Because i wet it and it doesn't. But i didn't think to do warm wayer
- +1 y
@DizzyDesii your welcome warm water should make quick work of the glue that they use on bandaids.

+1 yAs a diabetic since 1997 and take insulin shots, doing blood tests like 3-4 times a year with 9 operations in total and my 10th is gonna be at autumn (hopefully) i tolerate a lot of physical pain and psychological as well. Rip it off and have a coffee, the pain is temporary 🤷♂️

Dang thats a lot

I would love to start a new life and skip all these things 😁. But i am stuck with this body with the soul and mind 🤷♂️

+1 yDepends on how close I am to the people I am giving the news to. I try to tone it down and make it more bearable, but if you are someone I am. not close to or someone I don't know, well, let's say I would be arrested for first degree murder if words could kill. I am a blunt and brutally honest asshole at the end of the day.

Damn im shakin in my invisible boots
- +1 y
Want, are we talking literally or figuratively? If literally, just rip that bitch off. If it hurts, bite into something or scream into a pillow
Well, I am not good at verbally ripping off the band aid, cause I just don't like giving bad news to others.
But physically I am a bit better if ripping my own band aid.
Although if I am ripping someone else's band aid physically, I am great, it's too fun to make them shout. 😅😅😅
P. S.- I am not a sadist🤣🤣09 Reply- +1 y

I am. Just tired. Its 3am and i haven't slept yet 😂
- +1 y
Haha you know me so well
+1 yPhysically I don’t always use bandaids. Still got the scar on my leg that’s the size of a pen. It happened in December from what I remember, I still have the scar on my that happened 1-2 years ago. Verbally if I find out that someone passed away I’ll just say it
010 Reply- +1 y
Dang i hope you're okay. How did you get a scar
- +1 y
The first scar that I got isn’t the first time it happened but I was at work when it happened. A kid wanted me to try to chase her because I’m never careful it just happens. The 2nd one was because of my neighbor’s dog
- +1 y
Oh heeeell no to the dog
- +1 y
Lol that dog is harmless though haha but I understand
- +1 y
Harmless enough to scar you
- +1 y
Lol 😂
- +1 y
What would you do if that dog approached you? Would you care that he doesn’t bite?
- +1 y
I dont let dogs walk up on me. No animal at that.
- +1 y
Alright fair enough
- +1 y
Im terrified of em
I'm good at both. Don't beat around the bush. But I'm also really good with language so I can make it nice and rip the band aid off.
11 Reply- +1 y
To me its not exactly beating around the bush. I just like my news to come with a beginning, middle and end lmao
- 1.1K opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yPhysically, yes. Verbally, not so much. I've had times where I surprised myself that I was able to deliver the harsh news well, but it doesn't usually work out that way.
02 Reply- +1 y
Yea im a bit ocd about the delivery and try to give it as professionally and respectfully as possible
- +1 y
It's extra difficult when it's your own child you have to give terrible news to.
+1 yPhysically I just rip it off. As for delivering the bad news, I don't mind. If the person I deliver it to is someone that can take, I have no second thoughts about ripping the band aid of. If not, I ease into it.
01 Reply- +1 y
I see
Both, but when I take my shots I just shave the area before way easier to get the bandage off that way.
13 Reply- +1 y
Makes sense

Great idea! I wish I thought of this for my son.
16.5K opinions shared on Other topic. Lately I've had more staples put in me then band aids lol. But yes I can take them off ok.
Same with bad news though bad news isn't something I often need or have to give.
02 Reply- +1 y
Omg i’d pass out if i got staples

As in it was worth telling them?
- +1 y
Most times in my experience YES
I dread both ( even though I can do it, i don’t like it )
02 Reply- +1 y
Maybe you dont rip it off then
+1 yI am pretty good at both. I can tolerate pain very well and if I gonna give bad news i gonna just go right out and say it but in a sympathetic way or lay it down easy on that person.
01 Reply- +1 y
Yea Hopefully with some sympathy
+1 yDepends on the situation. Sometimes there’s no time to beat around the bush. I rather be direct and get to the solution at quick as possible and get out of the F’d up situation.
01 Reply- +1 y
Okay
+1 yI'm a big p***y trying to take band aids off.

+1 yI do both without hesitation. Not sure that I would call that good necessarily, especially when it comes to the figurative version.
01 Reply- +1 y
Yea kinda scary that you do it without hesitation. I’m more logical than emotional but I want to make sure the person is comfortable and ready for what i’m about to say or do
- 5.6K opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yPhysical meaning literally, and verbally meaning metaphorically?
03 Reply- +1 y
Physical as in actually ripping a bandaid off your skin. Verbally as in giving someone bad news
- +1 y
So yes.
Well first of all, I don’t think it’s good to rip a literal bandaid off. Pulling too hard or fast could tear the skin. There’s nothing wrong with removing it steadily.
As for giving bad news I don’t recall ever needing to do that for a big deal, but I can only assume I’d suck at it if I ever do have to. - +1 y
Even steadily i feel my skin ripping off
