I started a new job and the supervisor I have had no choice in hiring me. He provided me with an empty room with no office supplies. I had to ask around. I then brought my own things in and left it at that’. But, then he gives me an old worn out office chair probably from 5 years ago. Everyone else has new office chairs including the other 3 people that were hired the same time as me. Any thoughts on how to handle this?

Suck it up for now and start looking for a new job on the side. Then you can be the one laughing at the end of the day when you can use the current job as evidence for why the next one should hire you.
I love my job there so, I’m just going to stay in my lane and keep it my job.
Personally I wouldn't stick there for long term.
Stop pouting and pretending to be a victim. Show that you can actually add value by working your ass off. Bitching will only get you shown the door.
Haven’t said a word about it. I am working my ass off and obviously, if the person had no choice in hiring me then I’m already a value to the company. Must have hit a sore spot , haha
@annie6815. No, maybe they had to hire you as you are a female.
You wouldn’t know because you don’t know me. Or what value I bring to the company. You are making assumptions
I know you are complaining when you should just get to work.
