What's worse, to be invisible or get hit on by very unattractive people?

If you had to select which is worse, what would it be?

- You're always invisible, lack social skills and never get noticed by anyone at all. Years go by, you're in your 30's by then and still a virgin. No one hits on you.

- You do get hit on several times but only by unattractive, super low quality people. It can either someone that's ugly, a homeless dirty person, fat people out of shape, etc.

Always be invisible, get no attention at all and remain virgin

Only get hit on and noticed by low quality, ugly people

Both are just as bad.. both are sad cases

at least being invisible, you are equally unnoticed where as only those you deem unattractive noticing you puts more emphasis on you having something desirable but not for the ones you would want there by keeping that fresher in the mind causing more depression. at least with no one noticing you that constant reminder is not there. also being invisible may not be about how attractive you are physically as much as you think where only those you see as unattractive noticing you leans more towards it being more about your physical appearance. also being invisible can be used to your advantage in some situations, one such situation could be (not) being targeted in something dangerous.

I would say both are sad but being hit on by the bottom of the barrel doesn’t mean you’re not attractive. Many attractive men and women have lots of people feeding them attention so it’s the bottom tier that are the ones who are the most persistent.

I know of both cases of a guy and a girl. The guy is ok physically, is tall but he lacks in social skills and is awkward in social gatherings with lots of people. Also, the way he dresses up sometimes isn't suitable. My friend and I are trying to help him.

With the girl's case, well she had a boyfriend before but the guy was indeed ugly. She didn't love him either. She just wanted to lose her virginity and get the pleasure of saying that she at least was in a relationship. She only gets hit on by fat guys, broke men, very dark skinned men whom she doesn't like and even a beggar on the streets hit on her. She admitted it herself that she's just a 5-6 but nowadays she's still picky. She doesn't the guys that hit on her. It has gotten to the point she now has an attitude and even insulted the beggar.

She's making it harder with her new arrogant personality. She became bitter by now, bitter that she will never have beautiful babies.

This case does make me depressed and angry because it's a reminder that a man's social skills impact his ability to get a girlfriend or get laid a lot more than the other way around
