A person that does not respect you will take short cuts. They will talk over you instead of waiting for you to finish your thought, they will yell at you for wasting their time if you want to sit down before you tie their shoe laces, they will never do more than the bare minimum of what you ask or request of them when you tell them to do something for you, and they will keep their dialogue as short as possible when scheduling social events.
