Can I say "seconds" for a time that lasts less than a minute?

Yes but it's unnecessary. A minute or a better still moment can also suggest a few seconds in speech.

Or do what we say "now in a minute" .

A few seconds doesn't specify a time it's just a way of saying you won't be long.

No a few can mean anything. 3, 4, 5 etc it just means a relatively low number not an exact number.

Yes but if 30 s up, then I think half a minute is better. Nobody would say a quarter minute. Seconds is pretty vague anyway and is just saying a very short time.
