I recently replaced the headlights on my vehicle because they were so fogged over it was hard to see the road ahead at night. In addition to new headlights I figured if I was going to replace one thing in the front of my vehicle I should just replace it all. I replaced my bumper cover, grill, emblem & lower bumper cover to make everything look new again & after I washed & waxed my vehicle it looks like the day I go it.

My endocrinologist replaced the blood sugar meter the hospital gave me when I get diagnosed. And she gave me a High-tech meter. Unlike the One-touch one I had, this one tracks all my activity, meals, before and after meal readings, it tells me what to do if my blood sugar is too low or too high, it even sends messages to my phone, and when I see my endocrinologist, she can hook it up to her computer and pull all the readings.

It basically tracks everything I do and any changes I make. She's been getting on me about my readings being too low, so it kinda sucks she can spy on me like that!

Her: You need to start eating 6 times a day, and you need to start carrying candy or chocolate with you.

Me: I forgot

It still benefits me, even though it keeps track of everything!

This is hilarious. I just bought a laundry basket at Walmart. It is designed to be held at your side, so it bends inward, had two other handles meaning you can also carry it frontward. It makes the onerous task of hauling a clump of clothes that I was making two and three trips to carry to my washer in the rear of my house easy. And after drying, I just haul the basket full of clothes and fold in front of the TV.

I feel like I've entered into a paradise! For $13.

I put in a heat pump, still have the gas furnace but it kicks in less in the winter time (just during really cold periods). The heat pump has reduced my overall costs, it serves as an air conditioner/heating unit, and has reduced my overall greenhouse gas emissions.

I just replaced my bed and it's AMAZING. couldn't justify for myself to buy a new bed when the one I had was fine - it broke and I didn't know how much I needed a harder bed until I got it. My sleep has improved which has benefitted me greatly.

While I still have the old one as well, I recently replaced my vacuum. The old one was an old Electrolux Canister from the early 90s- still a decent vacuum all things considered, but bulky and difficult to carry around. Bought a new shark vacuum that is lightweight and way more maneuverable. Only complaint is I have to empty it far more often

I built a frame to hold a hose reel. We just had new shingles om the house and my wife doesn't want me to hang a hose reel on the new siding. It looks good, does what it is supposed to do and I will put wheels on it when I find some.
