Would this be considered a towing violation against tow truck driver?

So I was parked in an apartment complex. I had the parking pass on the floor and although it was partially hidden you could still clearly see it’s the parking pass that belongs to the complex. The tow truck driver towed my car anyways. When I decided to confront the road truck driver he clearly stated he saw stuff on the floor, so that would mean he also saw the parking pass, he just wanted to be an ass and tow it. Is this a violation on his part?

Well, why didn’t you jump in the car real quick and put a stop to it? If you say he’s not going to budge get in there, if you’re right there with the keys. If the cops ever came all you gotta do is show him the parking pass that’s horrible that would piss me off so bad last enough to get into a bare knuckle fist, fight, right on the spot I don’t know what would happen if I was in that situation

I called him an asshole. It was too late but I have an entire picture in my phone with the placement of where the parking pass was located. He clearly saw it, he just wanted to be an asshole

Yes he really is one big time I can’t stand those kind of people and pawn shop people. In situation like that you get the car out of there and you put a stop payment immediately on the credit card explain to the credit card company exactly what happened we did that before and we never got charged when we got our truck towed

Yes but it’s a dick head move to purposely tow cars when there is a pass present in the car in general. He saw it 100% . He literally told me there was stuff on the ground EXACTLY where the pass was located

Sometimes those guys just want to assert their authority. They're dicks. I only like tow drivers that help people roadside. Those parking lot things are just a way they make money off of unsuspecting people m

It's not their responsibility to go looking for that permit. If it was not displayed on the rearview mirror or on the dash then he had they right to tow your car. Just chalk this up to a lesson learned.

If your parking pass was legit, then yes.

You should scan it and email it to customer service to get your car back.
