I don't really know, but I would say the first one just because it seems like it would last the longest. I'm thinking that the human sympathetic nervous system has mechanisms that kick in and keep you from feeling intense pain; the more intense it is, the more they kick in. Burning kills nerve endings, the worst burns aren't painful at all, the victims say they can't feel it. So kind of contrarily, I think the most painful and worst ways would be something that was mild pain, too low to kick in your body's response, but bad enough that it would suck and be drawn out like the Spanish Donkey example above.
Something else like having your body parts being eaten by insects (maggots) or a rat would also qualify for that I think.
Pulling someone's body apart on the rack, to the point where they can no longer breathe, takes a long time, and would be extremely painful. The others, though painful, cause death in a shorter amount of time, so the overall effect is less.
out of those the first one, but i'd say being slowly chopped up to pieces, equartelement or the rat cage torture are way worse
The bull. Crucifixion was pretty terrible too.

As I expected, brazen bull has the highest number of votes. Suffocating while heating to death and all you can hear is your own screams in the echo is indeed a horrible way to die.
And yet the first torture device has somehow become heavily sexualized. 🙄
If I remember correctly, the Spanish Donkey was commonly used against women back in the middle ages.
Brazen Bull. Iron maiden was never used since it is a more recent invention.
wow all of them
the iron maiden.
I said the bull
