What was a fear you had as a child that you no longer have?

When I was about 5 years old I walked into my parents room and the wall that their headboard was on there were two little windows above them.
Not regular windows these were like 2 ft by 3 ft long and the bottom of the window started at about I would say 8 ft but anyway I walked into their bedroom
I was talking with my dad and all the sudden he could see it on my face cuz I turned pure White I think and I stopped talking my dad could just see that look in my eyes he goes what's wrong what is wrong and there was a white Sasquatch or whatever they're called they walked up and looked into the window and just was staring at me eye contact all I did is I could just point this I mean I couldn't say anything he was up and out of that bed before I pointed and he was out the front door and when he came back he said I didn't see anybody what did you see and I told him and he kind of like looked at me
And my mom said something like you've been watching too much TV or something and my dad said no he saw it he saw something he goes I saw the look in his eyes the fear on his face
And then he said that window is 8 ft it's very bottom no man could walk up and looking at window and I said it wasn't a man he said no I believe you. I swear that's what
The next day we went over and talked to my grandfather and he's Cheyenne and he said that was my spirit guide so I was good after that
I was pretty bold. I mean, there were things that scared me, like some horror movies, but I didn't have any phobias.
Although, when I was really young, some kids pretended to put a bug down my pants and I freaked out. I ran home screaming in terror and my mom had to undress me and assure me there there were no bugs on me.
And another time again, when I was really young, I was playing with a friend in a vacant lot and looked down to see ants on my shoe. There was a hole in the toe of my shoe and I thought they were climbing inside. That freaked me out.
So, maybe I had a fear of crawly bugs getting inside my clothes when I was little.
The only other thing was, there were a couple of times when big kids chased me and I imagined that they would beat me up or torture me in some way.
Bees. I used to fear bees because... they stung and they flew around. My parents told me I cried when I was just a toddler because the bees. I think it was they were everywhere and they would sting me and ohhhh shhhhhhit!
Nowadays, I see bees are necessary. And really just wanna do it's job and left alone. If they have to sting, they will.
Fear of my uncle. Sick fucker is dead, thus the fear is gone.
Well I'm glad he's dead.

Public speaking. I have done so much that I could now address a crowd of 60,000 or more with no anxiety at all!
Think as a really young kid , I was a bit fearful of the night , fear is actually a reasonable mechanism for the body , and is an important life saver actually , the " No Fear " T-shirt brand , this is not healthy to promote , particularly with young males.
Not , too much scares me these days , heavy traffic , driving too fast ( that's every driver here ) , Criminals with nothing to loose , fast food ( when I see people think this is a part of life ) , and the acceptance of Obesity , these are all frightening things in todays world.
When I was 5, my brother thought it would be hilarious to vacuum up my favourite blankey infront of me. My mother had to pull it out of the vacuum and it was ripped to shreds. Traumatised me and made me terrified of vacuum cleaners for years! I don’t think I got over that fear until I was 13. I can laugh about it these days, but at the time it was horrible.
That I’d be abducted by aliens. “Unsolved Mysteries” and “Fire in the Sky” made me paranoid of that.
I was also afraid the Boogeyman would get me. If I went out at night. Didn’t help that my Dad would point to trees at night suddenly and call out, “Look! Did you see him? The Boogeyman was in that tree!”
The basement steps.
There were no kickboards on the basement steps in my childhood home. My siblings and I used to fear that the boogeyman lived under them and would reach through the steps to get us as we climbed to the top. My older brother used to run to the top and turn off the lights before us younger kids got all the way up the stairs. When the lights went out, the fear level magnified exponentially.
Yep.
I can finally sit through Freddy, Chucky and Jason films without freaking out 🤣 Unfortunately I can’t say the same about Michael, Candyman, the devil in Tales from the Hood, Snoop Dogg as the devil in Bones, the movie Mama, and The Conjuring 1
I also still can't handle I still can't stand Poltergeist, It, Amityville Horror, Paranormal Activity nor Children of the Corn
in my life in general i don't wanna leave earth, i don't wanna go to heaven. i feel like life here on earth is excitinh and heaven is borinh but that change the more i love Jesus, the more i truet him the more i would live to mert him although i already met him in my dream. there's just that longing for him
Well my whole life not just childhood i had a fear of death but now i no longer fear it.
I'm glad you aren't afraid anymore.
Well... when I was with my parents in the car and I saw one of this things I used to feel true fear... even now I dont feel comfortable behind this things...
That movie disturbed me... 😂
Well not as a child child but a little older... i used to hav small tits n got bullied for it in school so i always feared no boy would be interested in me n i would alwzys be hated n be alone etc
If i go around anything, I might get transported into a different world. My parents will be different, my siblings and everybody else.
e. g. if i go around a tree, my whole world could switch and i'd end up with totally different people. xD
I wasn’t very fearful child. I had nothing to lose. I was only scared to lose my family and if I felt they were threatened I was in a full protective mode.
Pretty terrified of the dark after seeing this weird werewolf movie from forever ago. Had to force myself to camp out in our backyard one night to face my fear and get over it. Not much sleep that night but I survived and haven’t been scared since.
The dark. I no longer get paranoid/nervous or think something is there when I am in a dark room. Sure, if I just watched a horror movie/show, then sure, but it won't last long.
Santa Claus. But I figured out that he didn't exist at 3 by myself so it helped:)
Being Accepted. I was never super popular and never seemed to quite fit in but now I just don't care and it seems to work
Sadakos!!
When I was little I was afraid of clowns and I mean regular clowns that make people laugh not the crazy scary kind and I think I got rid of that fear by the time I was 8 or 9
I could go dark, but I won’t.
Let’s just say that when you’re the scariest MF in the room, lights are on or off, fear is no longer an issue.
The Grudge. She scared the shit out of me for a couple years after watching the movie. Couldn't fall asleep, hated the dark and thought I would never get over that fear.
I was terrified of phone calls but got over it when I was about 16.
I used to have an irrational fear of a zombie apocalypse occurring. I find it hilarious that I was scared of that.

Really? That one in particular? Why?
When i was a kid, I watched a movie where there was a scene of a kidnapper kidnapping children and taking them away in that car lmaoo
Hahaha
Muppets. I used to have scary dreams about them being controlled by apes.
Flying monkeys controlled by the wicked witch of the east.
Being beaten every day by my dad. If my dad attempted to even touch me in an aggressive manner, I'd knock him the fuck out.
Losing my family and loved ones, sadly I still have it
Jus believe in god. He does it the best.
When I was in 6th grade a friend of my brother would try touching me and be all over me when ever he would at our house. I never new what happened but he stopped coming around. Happy day
Claustrophobia after I got stuck in a cupboard at primary school
Going to school. How I was bullied and beaten by nasty bullies. Hate bullies. No need to any form of bullying in life, no matter the age of the victim.
Demons. I grew up to figure out that the only scary thing is other people
The basement. That basement. Good thing my parents don’t live at that house anymore lol.
🤔🤔🤔 Honestly, I can’t think of any. I wasn’t a kid who got scared easily. Not even of the dark.
Having to stop while driving over long bridges. I always thought it would collapse.
Getting eaten by a tree. Scene from Poltergeist.
Plus still afraid of clowns. You know... IT
I used to be afraid of heights, thanks to my dad. I've since overcome that fear
