It's been like 110 here lately. So hot that the lady down the street wanted to demonstrate how hot by baking bread in her mailbox. What are you doing to stay cool?

Hot enough to boil a monkey's bum!!
It's been in the 80's all this week and will be all next week. It's not the heat that gets me, it's the humidity!!
In the mid `90's, I spent a month in Cleveland one day and it was 106 three days in a row!! But, it wasn't humid!! I was having a blast walking along this long main street hitting all the record shops! Old ladies were passing out on the street but, I was having a great time! The lake was a block away from where we were staying and there was great big pool behind the building and I hardly went in it!!
True, it's the humidity that is the killjoy.
I've just been sitting here typing for the past hour with the ceiling fan on and I feel a tad sticky! I WANT to get a shower but, chances are, by the time I start getting dressed afterwards, I'll need another shower!! I hate needing a shower immediately after having a shower!! And I tend to rinse off with cold water before getting out to cool me off!! I suppose I'll go cut the grass and hedges, first, since it's not supposed to rain today and THEN get a shower later tonight.
Do the trimming in the rain. You will not only be cooler but get your shower in at the same time.
Water and electricity are not a good mix!
Well see, you should have gotten a cordless trimmer.
It came with the house. I had no choice in picking it.
Excuses, excuses! 😅😅👀👀
Hot this week. 108 yesterday and today. It's supposed to be 110 tomorrow.
I've been sitting in front of my swamp cooler in the living room.
We've had to run the window AC in our bedroom the past several nights.
All in all, it's pleasant in our house, but we're using more electricity, which we always do in the summer.
A swamp cooler doesn't work well when it's humid. The A/C will help you sleep at least.
Where do you live in Calif? The only place they use swamp coolers is in the desert, like palm springs.
It is definitely hot in the desert here. It's been like 110. Just slightly cooler in the city. Kind of reminds me of this song.

here in RI, it hasn’t been super hot.
we’ve had a few super hot days but other than that, it’s been in 70s - low 80s most days.
It's been in the 90s and 100s the last few days. We had a really thick thunderstorm in our area yesterday evening, so it's been a little cooler today though.
Do you live near the Great Lakes?
No. Kansas City area.
Did you also have tornado warnings?
No. I thought for a few moments that we might, since the clouds had some ominous shades about them.
Here in the Toronto area we've had a week of 102°F and very humid. My central A/C has keep my house cool and easy to sleep.
Hope the power grid can handle half the country using their air conditioners. 😫
We're pretty hood here Ontario is a North American leader in electrical power generation snd distribution.
Miserable. I'm down in the South so I have heat AND humidity :|
It's been in the 90s for the past few weeks, but with the humidity, it feels like the 100s. My poor plants and flowers outside need watering daily now. The good news is, it's suppose to rain today! Hoping that will make it not as hot... it'll still be hot; just tolerable.
It was 103F or so today, and 104 yesterday (Saturday), but it's about to drop for a couple of days before heading back up at the end of the week. This Tuesday and Wednesday it will only be in the low 90s.
Dude, it's bloody grim here. It's hovering around 15oC. Cold and rainy every day in summer! In England, I mean, obviously!
What happened to that London fog?
It has been in the 80s. We have had rain all summer and only one day that was 90.
In Florida mornings and evenings have been like 74-76 F. Midday highs have been like 88-91 F for like 3 or 4 hours of the day.
The outdoor temperature in my area has been the same as any other year since I've been on Earth.
You mean hot all the time?
Where is Missouri? I have a summer condo in Branson on Tablerock.
Table Rock is a beautiful lake. The fishing there is great.
I'm in St. Charles County, northwest of St. Louis.
I hope to soon move to southeastern Missouri, to the Clearwater Lake area.
If not there, I might consider the Branson area.
My goal is to have a place that's private, with close access to Ozark stream fishing as well as lake fishing.
Mid 90s all week and humidity between 85 and 95%
I hate muggy weather.
Around 90°F and really humid.
Seems to be a common denominator.
Yeah it's always humid in the New York City area during the summer, but the dew point is usually in the mid 60s, which is unbearable enough. Over the last few days, the dew point has been in the mid 70s, which is oppressive and gulf coast numbers.
Time to move to Antarctica.
I do enjoy the cold.
You do when it's hot, and then you enjoy the heat when it's cold. You can't win.
Southeast has been in the low-mid 90sF (33C) with occasional thunderstorms for the past several days. It's hot!
As Trump says It's just weather and it will keep changing.
Bread bakes at 375° there's no way it could bake in a mailbox where the outside temperature was 110°. Even if you put it in a 200° oven you would only get warm dough.
Hot enough to cook my breakfast on the sidewalk.
Make sure you get some ants in there for seasoning.
Not hot enough. It's the middle of July and I barely run the AC on medium! So much for global warming..
I hear Italy is mad at the moment.
UK is just nice although we're due some warm weather. Hopefully not 43 degrees though as nobody has air con.
pretty hot no lie
But... can your fry eggs on your car hood?
I don't know probably, i feel like i fry like an egg by stepping out
Well, then the girls can call you "smokin' hot!"
thats a good point 🤔
Lower 90s here in South Carolina.
Pretty hot, followed by thunderstorms.
Do you live around the Chicago area?
I live in Phoenix so hot
Hotter than a flapjack on a griddle?
Like 33°C - 34°C at most 🤷♀️
So that's about 93F. Everybody seems to be in the 90's.
Yesterday was 117 with 20% humidity
Holy cow! Make that holy hamburger!
That's what I get for living in AZ 😅
At least I wasn't working in that heat. And from what I'd heard it's 131 degrees in Death Valley, so I'm very glad we aren't there
High 90's in NC. Stay Cool!!! xxoo
It has been up into the low 30C.
Normal Seattle summer temperatures so far.
It's winter where I am
The North Pole? Say hi to Santa for us.
