Does anyone here believe certain cars have too much gadgets?

yes, My truck had way too many gadgets. I hate the one that shuts the engine down at stop lights. There is a button that you push that will disable it but you have to push it every time. I would rather use up an extra gallon of gas a week that to have to spend 600 bucks in a new starter motor.

Which car would you say is the perfect as in less gadgets?

I had a 1980 International Scout. It did not even have A/C. It had a 4 speed manual transmission, manual transfer case. No power windows or power door locks. The lights did not automatically go on at night, I ordered it without a radio and installed my own stereo. It was basically a chassis with a motor.

Most of them do and 10 or so years down the road the "infotainment" is a shit show nothing is built to last anymore

You talking brand new car im not really sure i have a 2020 chevy 2500hd 4x4 and it seems ok i have problem with the built it brake controller for the trailer sometimes it has options that i do not use like wifi but its a nice truck but i also have a 2007 chevy 2500hd and it has none of that infotanment stuff on it and i think it is a better built truck im not sure about any of the new cars

All cars I have seen don't have too many gadgets. Maybe those cars rich people drive though.

Certain cars? Most vehicles have way to many gadgets in or on them.

I have a Mazda 6 as my everyday car. It has a lot of gadgets but ALL of them are useful and I use them.
