People that have had pets pass away, did you get other pets after they passed away? 🤔

I had a cat die prematurely when I was a teen, it hurt but now I’m over it. Now I have dogs, my roommate and I might be facing the euthanasia of her dog depending on what the vet says tomorrow. And that’ll probably hurt. Not as bad for me but I do love the dog

Yes I did. But I was 8 so that thought didn't last too long.

No. I got scarred by their death that i no longer want to keep a pet. I still have one and it will be my last one. 4 years later and i can't get over the death of 2 pets or the heartache every day i remember them and i feel horrible.
