I have a 23-year-old blue and gold Macaw and a I used tabby cat who passed away in 2018. They were the best of friends. Every so often my Macaw will go to their favourite hangout spots and meow T_T

So many!! I've currently got 2 dogs and a cat as I cut down on pets. I really like birds tho so miss those.

I have had pet mice, rats, hamsters, guinea-pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, quails, parrokeets, chickens, a bearded dragon, fish, frogs, and a tortoise a very long time ago.

I have to say tho... no animal gives you as much as a dog. They are clean, obedient, loving, loyal, trusting. It's no wonder they are humans no1 pet.

A blue and gold macaw? Is that the species, or do you mean a Hyacinth? I remain irrationally annoyed that they were never chosen as a mascot for Blockbuster; the coloration was PERFECT.

Anyway, I've had a number of dogs in my life, but never more than one at once.

Yes. I have ants.

The species are: Messor Barbarus and Camponotus Ligniperda.

I called messor queen "Amelia" and the camponotus one is "Little Amber".

I love my little black "pearls"!
