Take time to sit with your feelings first. Set a timer, let your thoughts spiral into the negativity, the anger, the sadness, the hurt, do it in a place where you can talk to the air as if the reason for your upset feelings is there in front of you, tell them why they made you feel this way. Do it for about 5-15 minutes and when the timer is done, take a deep breath and recognize you let out everything you need to let out and say it’s over and move on.
One day at a time, and try not to spend too much time alone. And keep yourself busy.
