Is it worse when a man or woman puts ego/pride first and never apologizes?

Someone makes a mistakes or wrongs you but they care about their ego/pride so much and refuse to apologize. They don't like apologizing and don't.

I've seen that not only men are having issues owning up to their BS but our gender too. Is it worse when a man or woman refuses to apologize?

Worse if a man never apologizes

Worse if the woman never says sorry

quite honestly... I have met many people over the years that are like that. I can guarantee you that these types of people will NEVER ever be able sustain a long term relationship. Partners need to firstly admit they made a mistake before they come up with a solution or compromise or some type of change that will "better" their relationship. When you're stuck with someone who can never admit he was wrong, they will never ever be able to get through conflict. The only type of person they would get along with is someone who doesn't have a backbone and can tolerate being abused, disrespected. No relationship can be sustained if it is always one party taking responsibility for everything that is "wrong.

The psychology behind avoiding any apology is the same, you just simple don't deserve one.
Narcissists and people who disrespect you, won't apologize if they make an obvious mistake or hurt you. It's probably the best indicator when you have to decide to leave or to avoid them. Generally if they don't grant you any usable advantages is better to walk away from them.

In TV sitcoms I have often seen it portrayed as Men will apologize but a woman will never apologize. But if she does apologize it won't come off as being sincere. Then we are supposed to laugh. My dad also seems to believe this way too. Come to think of it, I can't remember my mom ever telling my dad she is sorry or wrong about anything!

About them both are childish as woman have it in them to expect the men to make his move or apologise first if he cares as women liketo test people while men are naturally stubborn and stomp their feets on the ground woithout bulging from their ways

Both genders need to own up to being wrong.

But in my experience one gender only apologizes if there is still something it for them vs. the other gender who more often apologize out of general principle.

The problem is that they say a woman is "never wrong". Even if she is, they still say she's supposed to be "never wrong"

So, it's probably worse, since she's never supposed to admit she's wrong
