I prefer cats. Female cats specifically. They are less aggressive. An aggressive cat is best suited to be an outdoor cat. They are better at protecting themselves and great at keeping mice, snakes and other varmint away. I can live with a dog too.


I prefer my cats to be indoor/outdoor and house broken. Cats are much more independent from humans. Give a indoor/outdoor cat enough food and water and you can leave them outdoors to roam if you must be away from home for an extended period.


They are more likely to shy away from humans they don’t know. Cats are very loyal as long as their owner takes care of them. Also, cats are very appreciative when cared for correctly.


Dogs, medium to large, would be more suited to single women living alone because of their alertness and protectiveness. A cat will run and hide from a threat while a dog on the other hand will go on the defensive at home, and they can be taught to dislike strangers in public.


A cat must bond with humans as quickly as possible after birth so as not to become feral. This is also the time to begin building a lot of trust with your cat. From that point on, that cat will see you as more of a mother figure than human. A cat cannot be forced to like a certain individual and must get to know them on their own time and terms.


Single, straight males should have at least one female cat while in their 20’s and 30’s should they ever have issues figuring out women. Having a cat, and owning a house, goes a long way in attracting a woman because having one gives positive insight into your personality. I know this from my years of having female cats. Quite similar in many ways.

Definitely a cat person. I don't hate dogs. But dogs are too needy. You could pet a dog 23 hrs. A day and it'd want you to pet it the 24th as well. Cats have their own personality. They want petted at times and at other times they want you to leave them alone. But cats are still affectionate as dogs are.

Cat person... without question! Dogs have too much energy for me. Dogs are like that one uncle who greets you at the door with a hug so big that it lifts you off your feet and then with a big booming voice announces to everyone in the house that you have arrived. Cats on the other hand are like a lover who greets you at the door with a gentle kiss to the cheek after a long day of work. They are sweet and personal, but not overbearing. 😽☺️ Plus they are easy to take care of compared to dogs.

Not to mention cats have exclusive love that they only give to their owners or to people that really take the time to build trust. Dogs on the other hand will be BFF with anyone who gives them attention or food! 😂 I'm not saying I hate dogs... I just like dogs who belong to someone else. They are way too much work.

I've had both cat and dog. I love it when the cats around she doesn't want to be pestered by me unless she comes and sits on my lap. But my dogs have always been at my side and happy to see me and sometimes so happy enough they have trip me as I walk.

@7Phoenix7 well... around four years ago, this cute little thing happened to be at my back yard/patio and was bolting between the shadows during a very rainy storm, and so I thought FTW!! is that a ninja rat or something?

it was also starting to flood a bit at the patio, which was the reason why I was out there, trying to clear the drain, well... it wasn't a ninja rat... but a very cuttle little kitten that I rescued that stormy night... and this how she just took over my place and has not left ever since

at least, she didn't kick me out, lol

@7Phoenix7 and then, there was this one time... in which she had kittens, while most of them grew up so big and healthy... a little one almost didn't make it, too little, too weak, so she would barely eat and, after I spent two nights in a row with no sleep trying to get her to eat and recover... and then almost a whole month checking on the little thing to make it

I could just not get myself to find her another family and home but mine... she needed a lot of time and attention to make it, which I didn't want to leave it to uncertainty if, another home and family would have done that for her... or if they would have preferred just a more healthier and bigger kitten

that's how I ended up with my third... lol

@7Phoenix7 and the second was just one of the few fosters I was helping to get adopted and find a great place...

one of them in particular was way too hyper and also quite reluctant to go with others... lol

of all the fosters I had, he was the only one that would climb up all the way and snuggle against my neck and nap there, so yeah... I just couldn't let that one go either, that's how I ended up with the second one
