What do you think about people who seek validations from others?

I think we all at times need validation at some point. Some people have very low self esteem and self confidence and need it like for asking if others think they are good looking or if they are enough for other people are extreme examples of needing needing validation. I see boys and girls at school they think they are not enough or just think their good looking. I understand that I've been there too. Our opinions of ourselves are our opinions not someone else's. It took me a few years to understand that.

I see a lot of that on here. It’s fine if they are serious about getting an honest opinion/criticism about a new hairstyle, an outfit, or their overall appearance but that’s not what they want. They want you to tell them how gorgeous they are and if you don’t, they’ll call you names that I’ve needed to google! Then they’ll block you and trash talk you! Now, wasn’t this the most intelligent opinion you have ever read? You can tell me how intelligent I am, everyone knows it.

They need to work on themselves, I see it as a potential red flag when they seek so much validation from others and I wouldn't be surprised if there's many others that do as well too
