Why did some kids not let me ride on the swings?

Back then, as a kid, I was riding on the swings, and a boy grabbed me, and stopped me from riding on the swings. Boys like him would touch, and hit people, but wouldn’t want to be touched, or hit by anyone. That ain’t fair.
I got on the swings before, and 2 girls won’t let me get on the swings by swinging the swings all the way up, so that nobody would get on the swings.

Speaking as a kid who was bullied myself, it's because they perceived you as being weak or unwilling to defend yourself. I got bullied until I stopped caring about being in trouble and I fought back and stood up for myself. I had to do it a few times - and a couple of times I was unfairly punished for defending myself - but I also earned the respect of most of the kids, whether they were the few who actively bullied me or the many who just stood and watched.

The lesson is that if you don't respect yourself enough to defend yourself - even if it means being punished for doing so - then other people won't respect you either. I had to learn this lesson the hard way, but I learned it well.

Bullies are childish, and cowards. Regardless, whether the bullies’, and their victims’ gender is, age, family or not, aren’t friends, and strangers.

The reason why I brought it up because some people like them like to touch, and hit people, and told me, “don’t touched me” as an adult. They wouldn’t even let me hit them back as a kid. That ain’t fair. If people don’t want to get touched, or hit by someone. They shouldn’t be doing the same thing to people first.
