My friend wants me to sleep with everyone. a lot of qualities people have I don't want in me. But I'm over 40 and had had 8 lovers. No real friends till now. He even wants me to sleep with females. Wich for life and death reasons I'm not okay with. But curious. I never lived life when I was younger. Had a baby and family abandoned me. And my friends. So what is your take?

It's cultural. USA has a very push culture of men coercing women into sex as soon as possible (and weirdly its sold as 'experience' and 'helping them').

You need to decide what you want. If you want to be someone who has sex with many partners and your mature enough not to let that become a mess, then you should follow your preferences. However, I personally am way more comfortable with a limited number of very loving partners who each know their uniquely special. Though, it can be argued that I've not lived my life as fully as others who have been less cautious.

At the end of the day, numbers mean nothing, only the quality of your connections with others and how much the people who where in your life continue to feel special for having been there.

Because they don't see any value in sexual intercourse, they don't see it for anything else than just to have fun, kinda kills the thrill of it to think of it that way in my opinion.
