How do you handle people's negativity?

It just depends on what they’re doing. I don’t put up with peoples shit anymore. There are some situations where maybe it’s better to not say anything. But for the most part if someone’s like that. I’m not going to talk to them anymore unless I absolutely have to, and when I do I keep boundaries between them and me. So long as they are civil with me I’ll be the same witn them.

Cutting people out of your life can be easier said then done in some situations. If they’re going to be at a family function. Am I going to dictate me not seeing my family just because they’re there? Maybe some people would choose not to be there. But that’s a personal choice.

But some people are someone you have to work with or around or ancustomer or anything like that.

If it’s people I know and I’m friends with, I unnegative them by taking them out of their negativity zone. If it’s people I don’t know I either ignore them or distance myself from them. There is far to much negativity in the world, be happy be positive and enjoy life.

Both my uncle and cousin say when somebody is being a jerk you ignore them and try to avoid being places where they go and my mom says don't engage them in confrontation cause you never know how far a crazy person will go to win their fight with you.

I either just deal with it and move on or I'll try to find out what's got them feeling that way, so at least they can vent and hopefully feel better.

i can usually make light of it or even make a person smile. i don't handle a person's angriness the same way. it's a different demon.
