Is it legal to 'kidnap' my girlfriend (for fun/prank)?

I want to 'kidnap' her. She's a very wimpy girl. I'd love to scare her to death. I will put my bank robber mask on and then I'll break into our house. Then I'll tie her up and gag her. Then I'll force her into a rented truck and drive to a secluded place. Once I've had my fun, I will untie her/show her my face.

Is this considered a prank? Or am I not allowed to do this? I guess it's legal because I don't really kidnap her/I'm just trying to to have some fun/just trying to scare her to death. Do you think she'll be mad at me? Will she forgive me?

That is still illegal. Kidnapping is the crime of unlawfully seizing and carrying away a person by force or Fraud, or seizing and detaining a person against his or her will with an intent to carry that person away at a later time.

I don't think your girlfriend would find this funny at all. Also if someone sees you do this the police really could get involved even if your girlfriend is okay with it.

What if someone wanted to do this with your sister? Just because she is your girlfriend does not mean she is your object, toy or a possession, she doesn't only belong to you she is also somebody's daughter, a woman and a human being herself. Being her boyfriend does not give you the license to do anything you want. You need to respect her, people in a relationship need to be gentle and caring towards each other. Pranks can go really bad sometimes, I saw a video where a man scared a woman when she came home, she got so scared that she ran outside her house and got hit by a car and died. Her head was bleeding.

I think something cute would be like going up to her and go like hey close your eyes then put a bandana over them and pick her up and put her in your car. then drive to a place you picked out and bring her over to a nice table that you set up with flowers and dinner and untie the bandana and say surprise!

Well at first glance it sounds hilarious. Except for the fact that a. she might really hurt you, kick you bite you, scream for help, or even call 911. Plus you don't know what people do in situations what if she goes into shock or gets hysterical.

Then after the fact she might just realize how easy it is for someone to kidnap her for real and it might backfire. Just think it through. I mean she might even try to bail out of a moving vehicle if she thinks its real. :/
