How old is too old to believe in santa?

Saw a parent on facebook making fake santa footprints in his house and the caption said my 16 year old still writes letters to santa, “laughing face emoji”.

In my opinion 16 is way too old to still believe in santa. If your kid believes in santa for too long you should tell them the truth and if they still believe in santa after like 13 or 14 you should be concerned about them having a mental disability.

Do you agree or disagree that a 16 year old believing in santa in some what alarming?

Too old. I was 6. My kids were 6. Hard pressed to go past 6 in my opinion.


That being said. I kept the ruse going because I was afraid I wouldn’t get the presents. And when I was 12 and my uncle’s new wife talked to me like I was 6 I almost died of embarrassment.

10 years old. I told my cousin there's no such thing as Santa Claus when he was 10 or 11 and he started crying. I was 7.
