How do you handle rude drivers, tailgaters especially that tailgate in construction areas?

The problem here is compounded by a lot of highway construction, where roads are reduced to a single lane, and I always get in front of the guy in the Toyota Corolla, who thinks he is on the Autobahn in a Lamborghini ! I brake check these morons and then it sometimes gets to a problem of having to stop and have a conversation with the Mace or Pepper Gel, and then calling 911. The huge number of cars on the road is another problem.

A lady friend told me: "When I'm out driving, everybody needs to get out of my way"! (It seems many people drive like that all the time)

Our friendship ended rather quickly.

I smile and pull over, / give room to pass when it's safe. I have no intention of risking losing my life or taking the life of another because he is a idiot.

@LiamJHayden I agree in principal, but I have been rear ended by those idiots, and they drove away, one time my car was demolished, and the driver fled the scene.

@jennz6 Driving back home from San Clemente yesterday I saw two cars causing a real problem doing that same thing in traffic, and could have caused a wreck. screwing around in heavy traffic obviously in a "rage" also. I was going to call 911, but was scared one of the morons was going to rear end me. One guy and girl just trying to get away from this other idiot.
