Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 ythese are things i realised as a teen
-that guys have emotions, insecurities, fears etc. i used to think dudes were emotionless robots who only wanted sex and money
- that guys actually want to date for feelings and a lot are actually kinda romantic. i used to think 90% of dudes think love is gay and want to smash as much girls as possible until they're old. and also didn't think that they'd enjoy cuddling, hugging, hand holding for itself, and not just when it leads to sex. also didn't think the maj of dudes were or wanting to be loyal
- that dudes can not be in the mood. that you can also sexually harass, assault or rape a dude. i used to think you could do anything to a dude without asking and it was okay. and if your 'raped' him he would love it.. also on that thought that 12yo boys who are molested by teachers really love it so it's not that bad
- that dudes are horny but not nearly as horny as girls make them out to be. i used to think guys only ever thought about sex for the most part
- that a very large % of dudes are actual rapists, child fuckers. and the ones who dont, only dont do it because of the law. also that the vast majority of men think women are subhuman and want to oppress them

+1 yGrowing up I never really thought of or imagined that guys had insecurities and would be nervous. Maybe superficially.
But not really deeply.
I hadn't really had that many guys in my life that felt that way, portraited it or talked about that with me.
It's actually first the last couple of years, maybe 5 years or so, that I heard about it more in depth and it really struck me.
I had a good, deep conversation with a friend a year ago, where he talked about insecurities and such, and that surprised me, cause he always seemed like this guy who never worried, and was always happy and the life of the party, you know.
That really surprised me.42 Reply- +1 y
Men, I think, just don't generally feel as much need to share our emotions. We have many of the same insecurities. Based on what I see in women, I *do* think women tend to feel insecurities more strongly and over much smaller things, but it's not a night and day difference. And frankly, women do tend to penalize us for showing a negative emotion or especially a lack of confidence.
I don't think that's wrong -- women are wired to do that for a reason, to keep the species strong. But it does tend to result in us keeping those things a little more private. - +1 y
@Haraklus I think it would be much healthier if we talked about it more, worked through those feelings together, and learned how to process them, instead of letting, especially men, just bottle them all up alone.
People in general penalize others. Women get shit for getting annoyed or angry, always asked if we're on our period or that we're too masculine or something else.
Emotions aren't gendered. Everybody has them.
That's important to vocalize.
+1 yAh, how refreshing to contemplate gender dichotomy! Though a lifetime of hedonistic exploits offers copious learning opportunities, let me regale you with one revealing lesson.
I discovered the fairer sex possesses remarkable fortitude when confronted with excruciating duress! Once, while helping a slave novitiate in the arts of suspension bondage, she astonished me!
As I affixed nipple clamps to her quivering breasts and pulled at her pubic hair, her countenance remained composed while floating effortlessly! Even as I caned her with a 20 foot dildo, she showed a capacity to submit graciously and persevere despite overwhelming affliction showcased latent depths hidden underneath petite frames.

Personality wise its mostly been what I expected. Sure there are some differences between the genders personalities but its not that big. So if you treat them like humans as a basis and understand girls are slightly more biased towards emotions/feelings and people instead of objects and raw emotionless logic you'd probably get a good idea.

+1 yI think it shocked me to find out that guys actually had feelings, emotions and could cry. As a kid and teenager I sort of thought you could do anything to them and they had no real feelings about it. Since I witnessed a lot of guys in my life hurt girls often and seem like it was easy and meant nothing to them.

+1 yMine was in the gym. Watching how strong some women can be without looking all jacked up. I saw some "traditionally feminine" looking women squatting and even bench pressing impressive weights given how small they looked.
Due to low levels of testosterone, women's muscles do not get as big as a man's without significant effort (or steroids lol), but do not let the size of a woman fool you. Some females are incredibly strong.
10 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Other topic. It's hard to say. Mostly it's been a very long process of slowly trying to learn and make sense of things. The surprising parts were when women behaved and saw things just like me. Because in high school girls were so alien to me I believed there wouldn't be anything we saw the same way. It's still a bit hard for me to understand some things but it's ok :)

+1 yYou didn't say at what age... so, my answer is going to be that women don't give birth out of their butts.
