Can messing with the fuses on a car cause the check angine light to come on?

The blinker whent out on my truck, so by brother helped me. He took out one of the fuses next to the battery and then he put it back in. Then we replaced the bulbs on the front and back lights. As soon as I started it up, the check engine light came on and is still on

Maybe, check engine light turns on for all sorts of things. You can either go to a repair shop or buy a dongle to access the computer and look at the error code to see whats wrong.

Do you have the vehicles manual? Go through the steps to reset the engine/dash light (s) and see if that fixes it. Maybe you just tripped it. Modern cars electrical systems can be sensitive.

It shouldn’t. But why would you pull a fuse to change a bulb?
