In my experience, death is the ultimate statistic. In all recorded history, only 2 people didn't die: Enoch & Elijah, with Jesus refusing to stay dead permanently.

As I was dying in ICU in 2020 the only things I was bugged by was not telling the people I love most what they mean to me. Trust me, nothing else matters if you're right with God.

I did before I was in the situation where I was lying in ICU being told I needed a ventilator but the doctor at that point had zero patients survive who were as sick as me.

I didn't have enough breath to make even one phone call to say goodbye to my wife and son - I had Covid and no visitors allowed.

I'd have died of exhaustion that day without the ventilator. As it was I was in a coma for the next 3 months and went through full cardiac and respiratory arrest.

My "bucket list" now is to see my son grow up for as long as physically possible, and outlive my wife so she doesn't have to go through that trauma again
