Sometimes I wish I was less nice lmao.

But as a general rule, I try to be kind to everybody, and I’m naturally outgoing and I think pretty positive, especially interacting with strangers. Not like weirdly chipper or anything, hahaha, but like with a cashier or something, I’ll always give a friendly hello at the beginning of the interaction, and thank them and wish them a good day at the end.

Actually, one time I was bumming around in some park while I was waiting for something to be done to my car, and some guy hanging around nearby was having some argument on his phone. Then a little later I was walking around the same neighborhood, and he came the opposite way up the sidewalk. When he got close, he asked me if I was a particular cop he thought he recognized, and I said no, and introduce myself.

I think I asked “how’s it goin’?”, just kind of as a figure of speech, but he obviously had a lot on his mind and started unloading, lmao, but I just listened. He was like “mannnn, my baby’s mom is trippin’…”, and “I’m having trouble finding a job because I did a little time, and I’m tryna start this landscaping service”, etc.

Dude was just down bad, it seemed. Didn’t really know what to say, but I was like “bruh…. you need a hug” and opened my arms to him. He came in for it, and I think he was holding back tears. I don’t know, didn’t have much else to offer but some kindness, but he seemed to really appreciate that. Didn’t talk much longer and went out separate ways, but I think he felt a little better than before, so that was cool.

So I guess that’s maybe nicer-than-average, hugging rando strangers on the street😂

I have my rage fits when you might say I’m not being very nice, but those really need a lot of deliberate provocation to come about, and at this point it really only happens in hockey. Otherwise I’m pretty nice, or at worst, I’m quiet and keeping to myself.

Definitely never actively mean, though, I like to bring good vibes if at all possible👍

I consider myself civil. Yes, I can be nice just like I can be mean. but I find it tiring. I prefer to be authentic. And the authentic me doesn't want to be mostly concerned with fitting whatever the current standard of being nice is. It just wants to exist. But not for show.

Nope lol just a person. I'm as calm and good as the situation dictates. You treat me and mine with respect, you're good. You hurt me or a loved one, they'll never find what's left of you.

No. Niceness is something I leave for others to judge. I'm just me. I can be very gentle and compassionate. I can also be a raging hardass. It depends on who you are.

Hmm, I know I can be nice, I can also be fairly nasty if required. I can switch between the two very quickly depending on the situation, however I far more prefer humour and just chilling out, as being nice and being nasty often have too much drama lol.

Considering i don't put in effort to be rude to people, i try to help people who need someone to vent to, I'm always a safe place for friends and people who have social anxiety, i don't try to mooch off of people, i don't cause people drama, I've broken up fights, i openly offer to be an intermediary for arguments, i try to de-escalate drama, if people offer me food or drink i reject 2 times then go with the cheapest option, and my philosophy is "don't be an asshole"... so yes, i would consider myself a nice person... awkward... but nice

That’s not my place to say, id like to think I’m decent and friendly but that’s entirely up to others to decide. I believe in being compassionate and respectful than cold and inconsiderate. I show the olive branch with everyone I meet and genuinely respect them until given a direct reason to distance myself from them.

I am a nice person.  One just has to know when and where to set boundaries as some people will see it as a sign of weakness and... Yeah. Then, they see a whole different person.
