Since I am one of the older women on here, I was raised in a different time than most of you.
As girls, we were taught to be nice to everyone, and to be sweet and remember to share with other people (like your gum or 🍬 candy). So yes, I might weigh on the "Too nice" scale a little bit.
There is an old saying: little girls are made out of sugar and spice.

Used to be. I had a huge people pleaser problem, and a lot of people took advantage of that kindness and used me. All it did was make me grow tougher skin and be less kind to people unless they’ve earnt that kindness.
