Who hangs their kitchen TOWEL on DISHWASHER handle?

We have a 5' long island in our kitchen. It has towel rods on both ends. One end faces our frig but that corner is very near the sink, dish washer and stove. So all I have to do is turn around to grab a towel when I'm at the sink. I don't even have to take a step.

The dish washer is between the sink and the stove, so it would be a longer reach to the oven handle if I was at the sink. And the dishwasher has a pull handle with nothing to hang a towel on.

Mine hangs on the oven handle, just in case I need to grab a hot handle from something on the stovetop or in the oven.

Mine goes over the teapot. One of my cats liked to pull it off in passing so we stopped hanging them. I almost went to hang a loop on the kitchen wall, as they do for hand towels in the bathroom, but upon testing he did the same thing. Some past life experience with linen in the kitchen I suppose.. we adapted.

No dishwasher in this old farmhouse. The towel hangs on the handle of the oven door.

Dishwasher doesn’t have a handle , dishes washed manually air dry. Dish towels are a bad idea for bacteria as they get used for everthing from people’s hands to lazily cleaning up spills.


Sorry it’s my food safety training coming into play here , disposable towels when nothing else fits though.

My dishwasher doesn't have a handle.

I have one on the refrigerator handle, and one on the oven handle.

By the way, the firemen will tell you not to hang towels on the oven handle. It can cause fires.

I did in my old house but, this dishwasher doesn't have a handle so, I use the oven handle. There's also one hanging from a drawer in front of the sink and another on the fridge handle.

I've never actually had a dishwasher with a place to hang a towel, but it does seem quite practical

My dishwasher doesn't have a handle like that or that's likely where I would put it. It just goes on the counter.

I don't have a dishwasher but sometimes I put the towel on the stove handle and also overlapping a cupboard door

I've done that when I had a dishwasher that had a handle.

I hang mine on my stove handle I have a dish washer but makes no sense for me to use it since I'm just on person so most time it one fork one plate and one glass I just wash those by hand
