A young Black woman whose dishes I washed and dried numerous times during my servitude to her initiated my practice of wearing a maid's apron whenever I did her dishes provided me with a timely opportunity to subvert my masculinity and immerse myself in the submissive, feminine peon that had waited so long to be brought out.

No, only to cook, but I probably should wear it for dishes too.

My apron used to be the greatest, it has a picture of R Kelly and says “Hot and fresh out the kitchen”…. but obviously the value has dropped on it in recent years. I still refuse to stop wearing it, lmfao.

Always, after I cook with the pan and pot, I wash them. With leftover oil, curry, soup, etc., I wouldn't want any trace of food spilled on my outfits. I take a nap almost every day. If I don't wear an apron, I'm afraid ants and roaches would follow me to the sofa.
