My dishwasher washes the dishes for at least an hour. Drying is included. And it cleans them perfectly crystal clear.
Thank you very much for the mho!

@lanadelrey25 So we'll see you down by the river with a washboard in hand doing all your laundry then! lol
@EmmaMary Lol, more like hanging my clothes on a line to dry, washing machines were already being used.
@lanadelrey25 I did know that, but thought I would just "throw it in for good measure", and hopefully put a smile on your face. ❤
@EmmaMary haha yes you did :) :)
I always start the machine in the evening right after the dinner :)
Run a light rinse. So the dishes in there don't have dried on food.
Great answer washing them with hands u can actually see ure cleaning them perfecto
@chevymcgthatsme : But the machine washes them with very hot water, sanitizing them.
Yeah but sometimes not good enough and by the time u wash ure dishes the dishwasher would be longer hands are handy
Mind you, I would do precisely the same thing were my washing machine to give up the ghost.
Mistake ! :)
Absolutely agreed. A life without a dishwashing machine is impossible for me :)
Not impossible, but the machines steam clean and sanitize to an extent that no human can, unless you get a cheap one. This is my third. First two were terrible maytags. This thing I could marry. I paid for two lousy, noisy dishwashers, then spent same amount for a great one. Consumer Reports took me away!!!
Poor guy! :)
why poor guy, we share things, and therefore we get the best from each other,
@Screenwriter 🤣 I guess I need an editor for my replies
I was a newspaper editor.. I notice the most interesting typos...
If you do home cooking and eating, even as one person, I dirty lots of pots and pans. And DW does better cleaning job.
That's true, but I'm working on getting in the habit of cleaning my dishes as I go. Part of the wasteful aspect is using that much water to do dishes for just me. I'd rather put in the extra elbow grease to handwash than waste water.
You also save water when you use DW.
@Screenwriter that's cool, but my mom's house, her rules.
