Not allowed to use black or white bags anymore. Has to be clear so when they collect the garbage they can see there are no organics. Organics are collected in a large wheeled green bin which go to the dump to be composted. Then there's the blue bins for recyclables.

White ones indoors because they fit our trash bin that has a lid that opens with a peddle.
But we use black ones for larger loads at times.

This is a very interesting question I us black mostly because it seems like a waste of money to get white bags when you can just throw everything in a black bag

Both, white for smalle trash can and black for larger can. It is just how the are for those sizes.
