I was a manager at a museum, got an emergency call that this woman had accidently locked her child in a hot car, so I called fire/rescue, and waited with this woman who explained to me that she was literally going to kill her husband because she'd told him to get the car fixed because the locks were jamming, and now THIS. Five minutes later, fire/rescue and an ambulance pulled up and out popped my friend from high school. I had no idea she was EMS, because I hadn't seen her or spoken to her since we graduated and this was like 4 years later. She was as shocked as me, but she kind of had to do her job first, lol, before we could catch up. (The kid was perfectly fine. Pretty sure the husband wouldn't be).
