Up, down, later; how ‘bout now?

Scenario:

When you’re in a building 🏙️ and there’s multiple elevators going up ⬆️, and down ⬇️.

And an elevator opens on your floor, but the people say it’s going in the ***opposite direction***

- do you ride it? or wait for the next one (s), which will be going the same direction as you are?

Ride and wait until people get off their floor then go to my floor

Wait for an elevator going in the direction I am going

I don’t ride elevators; always use the stairs

Wait for the next, just people being in it already changes my mind most of the time, sometimes I take the stairs, I've never seen taking the stairs as a big issue.
