I lose interest in things commonly considered as signs of success, like money, fame, prestige etc. As a teen i was mesmerized by celebs etc

It just means that you are starting to understand what is truly valuable in life. It's not glitz, glamor and fame. That's a sign of maturity. You are definitely not old.
