Is it true from your memory from that time?
I remember not hearing most of this type of language.
I was born in '58, so I went through the '70s as a teenager and a young man.
Most of that kind of talk was either strictly on TV and in the movies, or if it was on the streets, it certainly wasn't anywhere around where I lived.
I do remember saying "Far out" fairly often, and maybe a few others, too, but by and large, I think that the image of the '70s by those who weren't there to see it is largely fabricated by Hollywood.
