Do you think it is rude for one person to tell another person about what they should or shouldn’t spend their own money on?

One time a person said to me i should stop buying makeup and save my money because makeup doesn’t help me look pretty.
I personally thought their comment was rude. It is perfectly legal for me to buy makeup and it is not physically/emotionally hurting other people if i choose to wear it.

It’s my money. Not his. I think he should mind his own business. It is not that expensive to buy makeup. I work full time and can easily afford ot.

I am still going to continue to buy makeup and wear it though because I don’t care what he thinks. That part about me not being pretty was totally just his own personal opinion. There are billions of people in the world. Other people may think I am pretty.

makeup? A waste. I may have spent about $1000 on makeup in my life time… for special occasions… mostly on good quality stuff.. other stuff are junk…

they may make you “look” “pretty”… at the end it’s the heart (inner” beauty that counts… how you treat other people, how you talk to other people…

the way you take now.. don’t think any make up covers the real you.

If someone’s giving me advice that is fine. But people making unsolicited comments are rude you’re not telling them what to do with their money.

Some people maybe have good intentions when they say stuff other times it’s controlling. Some people need to mind their business because who really cares if someone’s wearing makeup? If it bothers him that bad nobody is forcing him to be your friend or anything.

It's your money to do as you please. No one should tell you what to spend it on unless they want to boss you around with your money.
