Why are journalists such control freaks?

As a personality trait or type even, they sure do seem to imply "even individually, in their individual angles or individual stories and how they choose an angle, a direction, - they wish they were running the show or calling shots" lol

Lol 😂 it sure seems like all journalists often imply that wish they were the ones in charge, yet have more fun and carefree lives by choosing to be critics as opposed to with the bears in the bear ring or with lions in the lions den 🎪

Uhh I get the first part about first to break a story , gosh I dislike their jargon in media circles lol. Second sentence you write, I think you mean that journalists otherwise would be unemployed or the type to end up in unsavoury news articles, court articles , etc? Is that what you meant lol 😂😆

I mean they could have chosen between better careers or that journalism didn't exist as careers :)

I meant it more about those journalists who report from the site of the action... some of them go into very daring situations or environments, so it can be really dangerous

you often hear the news about journalist caught in the cross fire
