Nope. Just don't have it in me. And I won'd wear heels over 2.5" and those only occasionally. I have my own style and am comfortable with it, in every sense of the word. Same thing with my hair. It's pretty curly and I only do wash'n'wear. I get a good cut then don't worry about it. And makeup... little to none.
Ty.. When I was younger, it was the bane of my existence. I'm in the water all the time and sometimes, I looked like a wild creature with it. Then I discovered what a good cut can do. Hallelujah!
I keep my hair short because of the fact my hair curls so much better. Long hair is too much of a hassle & requires way too much detangling (both during showering & brushing).
@PBandJ_Nerd I never brush my hair. I sometimes use a pick but usually just finger comb it. I used to have a short shag cut and loved it. So easy to deal with. I bet your short curly hair is cute!
This question doesn't apply to men because all of our styles are actually practical, as far as I know. If I put on a classy outfit in the winter or summer it will be appropriate for the temperature. Think this is mostly true for women too unless you want to look like a hooker. A woman can always put on a longer coat.
Obviously a lot of women were raised by desperate hookers or never had any good role models in their lives.
I think most women will and do. Instead of putting on something warmer they just won't go out. It was quite noticeable when I did a lot of partner dancing.
There were more guys than girls in the winter months and more girls than guys in the summer.
I mean, I’ve worn things that I know I’ll be cold in or heels that I know I won’t be comfortable in because I do a pretty good job of setting those feelings aside and almost completely forgetting about them, but believe me when I say that 90% of what I wear to casual outings is just stuff I fell asleep in plus glasses, socks, shoes, and makeup.
Right now I’m just focusing on my studies, but when I did work I had very physical jobs (camp counselor, canine handler, etc.) but my bosses understood my need to dress comfortably for those kinds of jobs and didn’t expect me to wear formal attire.

It's possible to be both comfortable and stylish. But I always choose comfort first.
I don't know why she wore something like that. She has such a lovely figure; she would have killed in a deep red velvet dress with a stole or shrug, or an indigo merino wool blend tailored jumpsuit. Who the heck is her stylist? :(
it's all about comfort... and I dress for myself... it must be comfortable, warm and nice in touch...
if someone doesn't like the way I dress myself... I don't care... :D
it's good to be back :D
Oh no no... lol I am all about comfort. It's why I rarely wear heels and sometimes no bra.
never, no...
my comfort is not negotiable
and I don't really lose that much of style either, no need to
Sure, for a special occasion or decision I would do that. Regularly, absolutely not. Most days clothes are just for function, but I do like Halloween.
I dressed as a character from a YouTube series, one person recognized it lol.
Barbie was big this year that's a good choice
I can and have, sometimes the fit demands it and the response and confidence I feel from it is worth it
The only time I sacrifice comfort is if it's for protection from injury or the elements. Like work boots when I need to protect my feet, a rain jacket when it rains, etc. I don't really give a shit about style, I have been dressing like an old man since the 90's
No. Warmth is a need, so no dresses, shorts, etc.
Women fear criticism way way more than discomfort. In my experience
Stand outside the line of any popular night club in any city in the winter. See all the minimalist dresses young women trying to look their best rather than be warm.
Maybe when I was younger. But now I realize what a dork I am. I'm going to be comfortable. F*** stylish. Nothing about me is stylish anyways.🤣
I have zero interest in fashion, so, no. I think people who care about fashion at the expense of function are morons who deserve the suffering they inflict upon themselves.
Nah, especially with cold.. Since I already hardly wear hats, or scarfs.. LOL..
Yeah, I live in Chicago, so it's pretty cold right now..
Aww thanks Lia.. WBU? Is it cold where you are?
No im the opposite lol. I’ll sacrifice style for comfort any day
Yea I’d agree to that. I can pretty much wear sweats anywhere and people won’t think much of it
Secret is safe with me 🤐
I don't believe that you have to sacrifice comfort for style at all I make it work just fine in looking good and being comfortable.
If I had to for whatever reason and briefly? Maybe. But to look good? No.
Not a chance. I would rather be comfortable then stylish.
Guys don’t have this isssue to show skin to be sexy.
Maybe in college. Not now
Nope i could care less what people think I dress for me
No I wouldn't, fashion is irrelevant, I prefer the comfort.
No way, jeans and tshirts are my usual uniform.
@liaraven im in between, can’t pick
I would not but that’s her choice
Comfort must be a part of my style!
Fuck no never. I’ll always dress for comfort first
I always dress for comfort
I can never do that
I wouldn't.
