There is a series of videos on YouTube. By a journalist Annie Jacobsen about a nuclear exchange between the US and Russia. One comment that sticks with me, after a nuclear conflict the living would envy the dead.

I have a house on an Island. There is a WW2 military installation they. I would go there to ride out the storm.
