I live in the Phoenix area and housing costs have doubled in the last 10 years. The influx of people from California has really changed this place and not for the better. Then there's the heat today temp is 100F, 38C April 10 .

All of these would be better that the liberal shithole that I live in now. I could by two houses in most of these cities and live in one and rent out the other one.
