The pronunciation you object is not new and was common in parts of England at least one hundred years ago. It has a name: th-fronting.

That's why the most beautiful English is American English. They pronounce all the letters with emphasis. Especially the letter R is pronounced very clearly.
There are areas in the United States where the "R" at the end of words is enunciated, and other areas where it is not. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhoticity_in_English
There are areas of the United States with a non-rhotic accent (ending "r" is not enunciated), particularly in the south but also in the Boston area.
What are the pronunciation differences in Missouri, Virginia, Washington, Texas, Connecticut?
Most only know text-speak.
Some are only one step away from trying to communicate using smoke-signals.
