There are many factors that are involved in giving one opinion. The opinions can be revealing the personal position on a topic by the one giving the answer but does not have to reflect the general truth or trend that most follow.

Also, it all depends "what you want to hear". Some people are not receptive to reality or the truth and I have been blocked by quite a few people here for telling things the way I see them and without being diplomatic at times.

If you are afraid to hear something that you may not want to hear or that goes against your beliefs, then it is probably better not to ask that question because you may not like the answer you get.
