We sometimes resell items we no longer want... online or at a garage sale. We also sometimes donate items to charities. It really depends on the item, how many things we have, and our overall mood.
I used to be fairly active on eBay (mostly selling used tech items, sometimes buying), but I haven't done so in quite some time.
Its a habit for me. When I have clothes or shoes that dont fit me I just sell them online for cheap.
Reselling usable items can be a great practice instead of tossing them out. It keeps our spaces organized and also promotes sustainability. Plus, it can be a little side hustle or a way to pass on things to someone who can actually use them. Upcycling and reselling are both creative ways to give items a second life. 🌟

mostly, give them or pass them... but I never just toss things out
Usually when I clean up old things I’ll either give them to family or the church.
