How hard is it to have patience with a toddler?

On a 1-10 grading scale (1 is super easy and 10 is extreme hard) how hard is it to have patience with a toddler without getting angry? Be honest.

as the oldest in the family it depends on the day because some days my patiene is at a 8.5 but in other days its lower like when im stressed and busy an trying to do something they love to test my patience an since i come from a big family i can't loose cntrol no mtter what but after a while you get use to keeping your emotions to a minimum that you get used to everything. and setting boundries help because when you let them know that something is not oka and they stop and maybe explain why in a way they can understand so they know not to do it again

As the saying goes, there are days when you need the "patience of a saint"... Young children can, and do try you, almost to breaking point, but you have to remain resilient to these difficult times... In return they will always bring you the most inmereasurable joy and pleasure... One thing to remember is never, ever to raise a hand to them... They will never forget this and will resent you.

Exactly and I'm willing to bet too many would fail at parenting skills since they had to rely on smacking with their hands or hitting with an object to get a scared, obedient toddler. It's so easy to lose your patience but at the cost of creating a long-term trauma.

No I don't have used to babysit before. It was a challenge but not hard.

Some days it’s an 8, some days less. Toddlers are built to test boundaries and want to go beyond any rules lots of times. They may feel upset and not know how to process those emotions. It helps to know that no one is perfect and most people can feel overwhelmed dealing with a toddler but you somehow survive.

Last count I have zero… but I live around my family and have taken care of toddlers in my family and helped out friends. Hopefully it’s good practice to prepare for my own family one day. Hbu?
