Yes, its because we all like to hide from ourselves to fuel our ego. We live in a world where everything changes and we crave comfort and pattern. All suffering comes back to holding onto am idea that is impermanent!

There is no way to avoid suffering, all we can do accept it calmly and try our best overcome the struggle.

Unhappy is just the opposite of happy so to not experience unhappiness is also to not know happiness. Thats why we all have to be unhappy sometimes

when I am unhappy about something... I definitely know what the cause, the root or the issue, is... for sure

this because, generally speaking... I'm happy at the moment, I am content, so... if something were to happen that changes that, well... I would just know it right away

after years, years and years of introspection... I don't usually get confused anymore or puzzled about how something just "doesn't click" inside of me and start to feel in certain negative or unfulfilling ways... knowing oneself is key on these things
