What darkness have you buried so deep it no longer sleeps, slithers through your veins at night, whispers in your choices, and watches you from the corners of your mind, learning, waiting, patient and cruel?

Not hidden from the world, not from anyone else,
but never from yourself.

If it ever fully awakens, will you break…

Oh Im well aware of my darkness… it’s part of what makes me who I am today. I don’t repress it, and I don’t ignore it.

I face it and embrace it every single day.

It isn’t some monster lurking in the corners of my mind waiting to devour me… it’s a shadow that walks beside me. One I’ve learned to understand rather than fear.

I've always said it... my depression is never gone, it is just dormant deep deep down

similar to alcoholism... you never really beat that addiction, you just remain sober for the rest of your life

so who knows... I just try not to hit my head to much, lmao... I don't want that imbalance to strike back... lol
