I actually keep a remote control with me at all times. I pause people all the time and rewind fast talkers, and fast forward my mom when she tells a slow story that starts from the beginning... like the beginning of time.

Seriously I love Mom but if something happened at the supermarket yesterday it will start like

Mom: Well let me start from the beginning

Me: Oh no!

Mom: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Me: Mom... we can skip a head to maybe this millennia.

Mom ok ok hold your horses I'm getting there.

So you can see I can help her by fast forwarding her THUS giving you direct evidence that I indeed have control of time.

I little of both. I try really hard to just be in every moment. I make plans and the universe will pull me in a different direction everytime I do.

I just ride the waves now. If you call me and im busy ill watch my phone ring. When I finish ill call you back. My energy is mine it has to be earned, trying to take it doesn't sit well with me. Time controls me in that sense, because I can't do everything at once. Ill always choose me in the moment. However, people are welcomed and encouraged to share moments with me.
