Why do you think it is more common to hear a female calling another female pretty than a male calling another male handsome?

Same reason a lot of men think it’s ok to watch lesbians have sex vs males having sex. A lot of men see it as gay. Plus to say that to another man comes off as awkward. May make the other man feel u comfortable, maybe even get defensive, violent. The other man might think you’re hitting on him.

Guys get nothing out of another guy complimenting their looks. Females feel validation when complimented from either gender. Why would I care if a male thinks I look good or not? Just use logic.
